Advice Column – 3/4

Dear Spartan Scroll,

They say that March is “in like a lion and out like a lamb” but honestly I’m sick of this lion. Sure I’m happy about the school closings and the delays, but there’s probably about three feet of snow out there! My days off have become uneventful (even though I do still beg for them), and I’m pretty sure I’ve come down with cabin fever. Are there any good things to do during weekends or days off that will get me moving and active (I think I’m getting pudgier as well).

Dear Anonymous,

Personally, I’m unsatisfied with snow as well. It’s become such a hassle to deal with and it’s definitely time for the weather to get warmer so it will melt. As for your days off, you should try doing some extra studying if you want. You probably won’t want to, considering it’s a snow day and most people don’t want to do anything on the snow days but it’s always a good idea to get to the top of your class. Try catching up on sleep or even a good book you’ve been meaning to read. If you want to get active, go outside and shovel a bit or make a small area to lay down in. Possibly create the next new and improved Statue Of Liberty in your backyard. I hear the record books are in demand. Good luck in taking my advice.
