Dear Spartan Scroll,

It has been a long and arduous journey through these past few weeks. Especially Halloween. I’m failing half my classes and I don’t know why. I don’t do the homework but I participate in class. Doesn’t that count for anything these days? I certainly hope it does. On Halloween I studied before a test for five whole minutes! It was really treacherous, I don’t know how people do it every night. How am I able to get my grades up?

Dear Lewis,
It seems that you may want to study for longer than that for a test and possibly do your homework. Personally I feel homework is keeping students from having an actual life but it IS necessary for a good grade. In most classes participation isn’t a very big portion unless you count gym. At least you get to run around at ungodly hours in the morning. Hurray. You know Lewis, studying with other people is helpful and extremely fun to do considering most of the time you end up laughing. Also, while you pay more attention to school work and not as much as other important necessities such as sleep or socializing with other humans, make sure to relax and take time to yourself. Have fun!
